"Hi, my name is Sam. I am a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I would like to tell you my story.

I was brought by my current owners at the age of 3 and not long after this I became very poorly and suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis in my front right leg. It was very painful and this made me yelp a little. I was prescribed steroids by the Vet which helped my problem initially but this made me very over weight, resulting on pressure on my heart so I started to suffer from mild heart attacks and seizures. I was very lame and could not manage my enjoyable long outings. You may think this is a very young age to have this problem and I did too, except that some of us King Charles Spaniels are known to suffer from this problem.

My owner got me a magnetic dog collar which after one week, lessened the pain in my leg, allowed me to walk again although not quite up to running speed but my life became more enjoyable again and a lot less painfull. I still take the steroids but my seizures have stopped and my lameness is not so noticeable. I have been wearing this collar for the last 4 years and thought this was the best that I would ever be again.

My owner recently brought me a new dog collar from Earth Essentials. It is magnetic but something has changed the way I feel again. I don’t know why but I am able to run now at quite a fast pace for my breed of dog which in the past I have only been able to walk. I do not get so out of breath when I am excited and I have even been able to climb the stairs and seek my owner out from her bed. In the past, 6 steps would have been my limit and I would have been panting and puffing and given up. My steroid intake has been reduced from daily to every four days now and I am feeling just like the young boy next door again. Wow.
